We would like to share our experience about our stay in Risheehat farmstay which is located in the Risheehat khasmahal of Darjeeling district. Risheehat farmstay as the name suggests is a homestay located amidst the beauty of a tea garden. From this home stay one can not only see the beautiful tea garden but also they can have the view of mount kanchenjunga,and a wide view of the valley and at the same time can have a beautiful and breathtaking view of Darjeeling city. The homestay has 2 categories of rooms, for the first category the tariff is 1600 rupees per day per person including breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner, while the second package is 1400 rupees per day per person including all the 4 meals. Our room was on the 2nd floor, the corner room with the view of Darjeeling city and the tea garden. It was of the package 1600 per person. The room in which we stayed was quite big with a clean washroom, they also provided a geyser in the washroom. They also provided free Wifi connection in the homestay. As the home stay is located adjacent to a tea garden so it is better to call it a farmstay. In this farmstay, there is also a store from where you can buy organic tea for your home.
