It frequently tops lists of top steakhouse in America from multiple different publications and media outlets, and is almost always in the top five at these spots. In NYC, I eat a ton of great NYC steakhouses. While Peter Luger may be the most famous, NYC has such a great steak scene that in my experience most other steakhouses in NYC are superior to Peter Luger and among the best steaks in the world.
