*MOVE YOUR SHOULDERS FREELY | Explore Your Complete Range of Motion* Welcome to this **shoulder mobility yoga practice**, designed to help you explore the natural movement possibilities of your shoulders with awareness, control, and ease. The shoulder is one of the most mobile regions of the body, allowing the arms to move in many different directions. In this practice, we explore the major shoulder movements—including **flexion, extension, abduction, adduction, internal rotation, and external rotation**—through mindful yoga-based movements. Rather than simply stretching the shoulders, this practice encourages you to understand how your shoulders move through different directions and to explore your own comfortable **range of motion**. Why Shoulder Mobility Matters Healthy shoulder movement is important for many everyday activities—from reaching overhead and behind your back to lifting, carrying, exercising, and practicing yoga. This practice may help you: Explore your shoulder's comfortable range of motion Improve shoulder mobility and movement awareness Reduce feelings of stiffness from prolonged sitting and daily activities Develop better control through different shoulder movements Prepare the shoulders for yoga and other physical activities Improve awareness of the relationship between the shoulders, arms, chest, and upper back Build a stronger connection between movement and breath Throughout the practice, move slowly and with control. Avoid forcing yourself into a larger range of motion. Everyone's shoulder structure, mobility, and movement experience are different, so work within a range that feels comfortable for your body. *Move with awareness. Explore with curiosity. Breathe naturally.* ⚠️ Safety Note This video is intended for general yoga, movement, and educational purposes and is not medical advice. If you currently have shoulder pain, an injury, instability, a recent surgery, or another medical condition that may affect movement, please consult an appropriate healthcare professional before practicing. Stop if any movement causes sharp pain, numbness, dizziness, or significant discomfort.
