Studied for hours, then went blank when it mattered? A page that feels familiar can be very different from an answer you can produce on your own.
In this illustrated Think in Toons video, follow a student from the exam-room blank to a more useful study session: understand a short section, close the material, try to explain it, then check and repair the gaps.
We cover active recall, flashcards, spaced practice, mixing related problem types, attention, and preparing for the task your exam actually asks you to do. You'll also get a 25-minute session to try: 10 minutes understanding, 5 recalling, 5 checking, and 5 applying. Adjust those timings to your subject; they're a starting point, not a proven optimum.
Before you leave, try the final recall challenge. What can you explain with the answer out of sight?
Subscribe to Think in Toons for illustrated explanations that turn ideas into something you can use.
