Day 24: Speak Without Translating | 30-Day English Speaking Challenge for Beginners | English Flow Studio - EFS Welcome to Day 24 of the 30-Day English Speaking Challenge with English Flow Studio. Today’s topic is Speak Without Translating. Johnny will guide you through a slow and natural English podcast about how to respond more quickly, use familiar English chunks, simplify your ideas, and keep speaking without translating every full sentence from your first language. This lesson is designed for beginner and elementary English learners who want to improve their speaking, listening, pronunciation, fluency, and confidence through slow and clear English. You do not need to pause the video. You do not need to wait for instructions. Simply listen to Johnny, follow his rhythm, and try to speak along with him as naturally as you can. If you make a mistake or forget a word, keep going. The goal is not perfection. The goal is to keep the conversation moving. In Day 24, you will practice how to: • Speak without translating every sentence • Answer questions more quickly • Start speaking before your whole answer is ready • Use simple English instead of complicated sentences • Speak one idea at a time • Use familiar English chunks automatically • Use thinking phrases when you need more time • Describe a word when you cannot remember it • Choose easier vocabulary • Keep speaking after a grammar mistake • Use short reactions naturally • Ask questions to keep a conversation going • Clarify when you do not understand • Build longer answers from simple sentences You will also hear useful fluency phrases such as: “Let me think.” “I’m not sure.” “I’d say…” “I think…” “It depends.” “That’s a good question.” “What I mean is…” “I don’t know the word, but…” “It’s the thing that…” “It’s a place where…” “Could you say that again?” “Do you mean…?” “Maybe next time.” “Sounds good.” “That works for me.” “I think so.” “I don’t think so.” One of the most important ideas from Day 24 is: Do not wait until your whole answer is ready. Start with one simple sentence. Then add another. For example: “How was your weekend?” “It was pretty good.” “Saturday was busy.” “But Sunday was relaxing.” “I stayed home and watched a movie.” Simple sentences can create a complete answer. Another useful pattern is: Idea → Simple English → Speak → Add Detail You do not need the perfect word. If you forget a word, describe it. For example: “The thing you use when it rains.” “The paper they give you after you pay.” “The thing I use to charge my phone.” This helps you stay inside English instead of stopping the conversation to translate. Day 22 helped you hear English in chunks. Day 23 helped you think in English. Day 24 helps you speak from those thoughts more directly. Hear → Think → Speak That is the goal. 24 days done. 6 days to go. You are now very close to the end of the challenge. If you completed today’s lesson, leave a comment: “Day 24 complete!” And answer this question: “What are you going to do tonight?” Start with one simple sentence. For example: “I’m going to stay home.” Then add: “I want to relax.” And maybe: “I might watch a movie.” Simple is enough. Subscribe to English Flow Studio and continue the final six days of the 30-Day English Speaking Challenge with Johnny. Keep listening. Keep thinking in simple English. Keep speaking before everything feels perfect. Keep the conversation moving.
