------- Symphony of Dystopia --------
No map had ever mentioned it.
No civilization claimed to have built it.
Yet every ancient legend, from the oldest worlds to the farthest colonies, whispered of a place known only as The Cathedral of Galaxies.
It existed outside ordinary space.
Outside ordinary time.
When the Dystopia crossed an unstable gravitational corridor beyond the outskirts of Andromeda, the impossible appeared before them.
A cathedral of unimaginable proportions.
Its pillars rose like mountains into an endless darkness. Gigantic arches vanished beyond sight, while rivers of pale light flowed silently through the immense structure.
There were no walls.
Only infinity.
Suspended throughout the cathedral floated thousands of colossal crystal spheres.
Each one contained an entire galaxy.
Not a map.
Not a hologram.
A living galaxy.
Stars were born within them.
Nebulae expanded.
Black holes slowly consumed ancient suns.
Entire civilizations lived and disappeared inside those silent worlds.
The beauty was overwhelming.
So was the fear.
Because Kael soon realized the horrifying truth.
The galaxies were not miniature copies.
They were the galaxies themselves.
The spheres were not containers.
They were gateways.
Each crystal world was a shortcut leading instantly to the galaxy it held.
AION calculated the impossible.
"Commander... this structure ignores distance itself."
"Whoever built it no longer travels through the universe..."
"They simply choose where reality begins."
Kael walked beneath the endless vault, surrounded by thousands of glowing universes suspended above him like celestial lanterns.
Some spheres had faded.
Others had shattered.
Some contained galaxies unlike anything known to science.
Then, hidden within the deepest chamber, he found one sphere unlike all the others.
It emitted no light.
It reflected no stars.
Only a single symbol floated at its center.
The symbol Tsukihara had carried since the beginning of his journey.
AION fell silent.
For the first time since her activation...
She refused to open the gate.
"Commander..."
"If this sphere truly leads to Tsukihara..."
"There is no guarantee that you will return to this universe."
Kael placed his hand upon the crystal.
Behind the transparent surface...
A distant galaxy slowly began to awaken.
