Commander Kael's expedition had expected to find the ruins of an ancient city. Instead, they uncovered a single object. A colossal sarcophagus. It measured nearly one hundred meters in length, carved from a black crystalline material unknown to every civilization in AION's archives. It bore no inscriptions, no symbols, no signs of worship. Only silence. The moment the Dystopia's scanners touched its surface, the sarcophagus awakened. Not mechanically. Consciously. A voice echoed across the bridge. "You seek the beginning." The lid slowly opened. Inside... There was no body. Only a sphere of white light suspended in the darkness. As Kael approached, visions flooded his mind. He witnessed the birth of stars. The collapse of impossible dimensions. The creation of countless universes unfolding like ripples across an infinite ocean. Then the voice spoke again. "Your universe was not the first." The crew stood frozen. "Nor will it be the last." The sphere revealed an endless cosmic tree. Every branch represented a different universe. Some were already dead. Some had yet to exist. Others had evolved under laws of physics entirely unlike their own. Then Kael asked the question that had haunted him for years. "Where is Tsukihara?" The light remained silent. At last it answered. "You ask the wrong question." "Do not ask in which universe she exists..." "Ask which universe exists because of her." Silence consumed the bridge. Even AION found no logical interpretation. The sphere continued. "She is not lost between universes." "She is the bridge that allows them to remember one another." The vision ended. The sarcophagus slowly closed once more. Its final secret had not revealed Tsukihara's location. It had revealed something far more unsettling. Perhaps Kael had never been searching through the multiverse for Tsukihara. Perhaps every universe had been searching... For her.
