Prior to the 2023 NASCAR street course race on the streets of Chicago, Chicago was always a racing city for many years prior, with races taking place at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, IL from 2001 to 2019, but before Chicagoland, we saw races very briefly at Chicago Motor Speedway at Sportsman's Park in Cicero, IL, just outside of Chicago.
