BJD Joins INDIA Bloc Rally in Delhi Over SIR: Demands CEC Gyanesh Kumar’s Resignation The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) joined the INDIA bloc’s protest rally in Delhi over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, despite maintaining equal distance from both the INDIA alliance and NDA. BJD Rajya Sabha MPs participated in the march on the direction of party supremo Naveen Patnaik, demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. BJD parliamentary party leader Manas Mangaraj alleged irregularities in the SIR process, raising concerns over voter deletions in Odisha and across India. The party also cited the Dharmnagar-related voter deletion controversy and other issues while questioning the Election Commission’s handling of the electoral roll revision. #BJD #INDIAAlliance #SIR #GyaneshKumar #NaveenPatnaik #ManasMangaraj #ElectionCommission #OdishaPolitics #DelhiRally #PoliticalNews #News18Odia #OdiaNews Welcome to News18 Odia, your go-to destination for the latest news and updates from across India and beyond.
