Hello My Beautiful People! Welcome to a very very hot afternoon in the studio! I have a couple of big announcements before we get started with our pour today..
First announcement: I hit my goal of having 100,000 subscribers and YouTube sent me my Silver Play Button! I thank you all so much for all of your support and encouragement over the last 5 years, it means so much to me! Thank you for being part of my journey!
Second announcement: HoA and I are moving! We have bought a house a little closer to our family and will be moving when I return from FAB in Dublin! The studio situation at the new house has not quite worked how we had hoped so we are going to adapt and work on a different plan. I ask for a bit of patience from you all so that we can get back to shooting videos and all will be well! We have a very exciting summer ahead!
Todays color palette was inspired by a gorgeous peacock feather on my coffee cup this morning..
I am using a 36x36 inch gallery wrapped canvas from Artists Loft.

In the first couple of Herringbone pours I did I poured the puddles straight from my 16 ounce cups and felt that it was a bit messy because of the little drips. To combat this I have poured my paints into smaller 5 ounce dixie cups that I can pinch the tip of and not make a mess with.
In terms of less mess, that did work...but I also used much less paint overall. In hindsight I think this was actually not good. In the pours where I had more paint my paint moved easily and the composition was maintained. In this pour I felt as though my paint moved, spread out and then just stopped. I prefer having more paint and the composition I want, so Im going to recommend pouring out of a bigger cup that you can pinch the tip of, and just pouring it slower to not make drips.
I love these colors together.. that Pebeo Iridescent Green Blue is magic against the darker Paynes and Prussian and Turquoise! This piece literally glows! I do show you mostly dried results at the end of the video.
Thank you so much for being here with us today! I hope you enjoyed this video! If you did, please leave me a Like and a Comment and if you can please Share this video to your social media! Thank you so much!
I will be leaving for Dublin on June 18th and will be back home on the 29th.. and then moving right after that. I hope to be able to post another video in July. Im so excited!! thank you for your patience and understanding, you guys are the best!
