Imagine several established cities spread through the Solar System when regular Earth deliveries stop. Could their homes, farms, mines, factories and transport hubs become one self-sustaining civilisation? This documentary follows a replacement oxygen shipment from lunar soil through processing and transfer, then traces the harder dependencies behind food, medicine, repair, routes and human knowledge. Recycling can reduce what a city needs from outside. It cannot replace every loss, rebuild every machine, or ensure that help arrives when it is needed. The real question is not whether one habitat can seal itself off. It is whether a network can share work without becoming trapped by its own dependencies—and eventually learn to make, move, test and teach the things that keep it alive.
