Where the Morning Finds Us | Indie Pop | Make your everyday feel like a movie

Morning on the kitchen tiles Silver through the half-closed blinds Tea went cold beside the window Somewhere around five Your coat is hanging by the doorway Mine is folded on the chair Nothing in this room is different But the light is everywhere Books are scattered by the sofa One shoe underneath the table Streetlights losing to the daylight Slowly, almost imperceptible I can hear the upstairs neighbor Starting up the shower again Funny how the world keeps moving Even when we haven't yet Let the morning find us here We don't need to name it We don't need to make it clear If the night has nothing left to give We don't have to disappear Let the morning Let the morning Find us here Dust is turning gold above us Cars are waking down below Curtains moving with the window First warm air beginning to blow Every shadow getting smaller Every color coming through Nothing has to change tonight Just because the sky did Let the morning find us here We don't need an answer Before everything appears If tomorrow wants to find us It already knows we're here Let the morning Let the morning Find us here Let the morning find us here No promises to carry No perfect words to hear We made it through the longest part And somehow we're still here Let the windows fill with daylight Let the whole room reappear Let the morning Let the morning Find us here Let the morning— Find us here. ──────────────────── Where the Morning Finds Us · Indie Pop Make your everyday feel like a movie.
