The Dumfries, Lochmaben & Lockerbie Railway

This is one of Scotland's less well known railways - a single-track line joining two small but significant railway towns - but serving a sparse population in between - and closing to passengers long before anyone ever heard of Dr Richard Beeching. Few mementos exist in the form of books or photographs but much of the route can be followed on the ground.
