A Family Day on Big Bear Lake, Canoeing, Fishing & Boulder Bay

Come spend a family day with us on Big Bear Lake! We set out from Mallard Lagoon in our canoe, fished along the way, explored Boulder Bay, and made our way back across the water together. I grew up fishing and hadn’t done it since I was little, but I was surprised by how much started coming back to me, almost like riding a bike. This was only Steven’s second time fishing and Stone’s first time! We're all still learning. I spent much of the day fixing lines, untangling knots, helping with bait, and passing the fishing poles back and forth, but honestly, that was part of the fun We may not be expert fishermen, in fact, we didn't even catch a fish, but we love learning new things together, spending time outside, and giving Stone experiences surrounded by nature. It was such a beautiful day of canoeing, fishing, laughing, and enjoying the lake as a family.
