Salaam | Hindi/Urdu Jazz-Noir | 4K | Raahi Vale

SALAAM (सलाम | سلام) | Raahi Vale | Music video Hindustani Bollywood jazz-noir from the album Khumaar, the sequel to Ishaara. A cinematic music video about one word, said first, in daylight. A whole week of practice. In front of the mirror, to a cushion, to the far hills from the roof. One word was all she had to say, but words have mountains too and this was the highest. Then the colony bookshop, a sunbeam full of dust, two hands on the same book and she says it first. He stands there holding the book as if every letter had turned over. The shopkeeper dozes at the counter. Nobody notices that a date has just changed. On the way home she looks up once. The sky is still there, whole. Nothing fell. Salaam, maine kaha salaam. Pehle maine, usse pehle. Her voice was soft, but the first step was all hers. 🎧 Best on headphones. Then say it first. ──────────────────────── LISTEN 🎧 Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/album/2OHTPD... 🎵 YouTube Music:    • KHUMAAR   📀 Khumaar, the full album:    • KHUMAAR | Full Album 4K | Hindi/Urdu Late-...   ← Salaam starts here ──────────────────────── CHAPTERS 00:00 The bookshop sunbeam 00:28 A week of practice at the mirror 00:58 Cycling to the colony bookshop 01:20 Salaam, said first 01:53 He answers, so softly 02:20 The shopkeeper dozes 02:37 Out into the sun 03:05 Home under the whole sky 03:36 Blue hour, the lantern lit 03:55 The ribbon ──────────────────────── WHERE THE STORY BEGAN Ishaara, the full album:    • ISHAARA | Full Album 4K | Hindi/Urdu Late-...   Himmat, the music video:    • Himmat | Hindi/Urdu Jazz-Noir | 4K | Raahi...   ──────────────────────── ABOUT RAAHI VALE Raahi Vale makes Hindustani torch songs.
