OLD FOOTAGE | "The Train That Feels Like Home" | Commuting before the Class 720s (Class 317) | WAML

This video is a mini compilation of the times I went commuting before the Class 720 fully replaced the Class 317. I was 15 to 16 at the time. I absolutely love these trains, and it is infuriating that there were no full-sets preserved despite them running in excellent condition all through the years and had not have a single history of breaking down. If they were given more years to run like the BR Class 455, I think it would be possible to preserve a single full-set.
