Pour Hydrogen Peroxide on Your Mattress and Watch What Happens (6 Uses Hotel Housekeepers Swear By)

Pour one capful on the oldest mark on your mattress. If it foams, it is almost certainly blood. If it lies flat, it is sweat. The bottle tells you which. THE 6 USES 1. The mattress. Cold damp cloth first, then one capful on the mark, 2 to 3 minutes, press with a dry white cloth and lift. Repeat until the foam stays white. Fan dry. Never soak a mattress. All-foam mattress: damp cloth only. 2. The pillow. The yellow shadow is sweat and skin oil, not blood, so it will not foam. Peroxide for a fresh spot only. The yellow needs a hot wash, 2 pillows at a time, dried right through. 3. The plastic cutting board. Wash, pour peroxide across it, leave 10 minutes, wash again in hot soapy water. 4. Blood on sheets and clothes. Cold running water from the back of the fabric until it runs clear, soap, rinse. A few drops of peroxide on what stays, 1 to 3 minutes, rinse, wash. Never hot water first. Never the dryer until the mark is gone. 5. The gray grout line. Pour along the line, 10 minutes, grout brush along the line, rinse. Judge it dry. 6. The sink test. Pour a splash in the sink. Fizz means the bottle is alive. No fizz means it has turned to water. An opened bottle lasts 1 to 6 months. THE RULES · 3 percent only. · Keep it out of your eyes. If it splashes, rinse at once. · It works alone. Never with bleach, never with vinegar, never mixed with anything. · On colored fabric, test a hidden corner first and let it dry.
