Hydropower production in the high mountains of Norway has left a giant footprint, but the upside is that the public has access to hydropower roads deep into otherwise almost untouched areas. Ptarmigans, rabbits, reindeer might say hello to you even along the way. It's a gorgeous area to drive, camp and hike in. Or to receive phone calls from your wife about what to buy on the way home, as you will see...
