Perris June 21st Final

🏁 PERRIS SPEEDWAY – POINTS RACE #2 RECAP – JUNE 21 🏁 Our Racing Lawn Mower Club’s second points race of the 6-race ‪@SoCalDirtKarters‬ Paris Raceway series was nothing short of wild! We had a full field of 8 mowers at the green flag… but tried to go four wide into Turn One on the first lap. Spoiler alert: that did not work. The massive pile-up that followed took out Gary Papps in the No. 8 and Britt Griffith in the ‪@TimcastIRL‬ TimCast.com machine before the first lap was even in the books. On the restart, Brandon Hubbard in the No. 7 jumped to the lead with clear track in front of him. While he pulled away, the real action was in the battle for second. Brad Barnett held the spot while Luke Papps stalked him lap after lap. Midway through, Brad drifted wide and Luke made the inside pass stick. Meanwhile, Brandon was in his own world — nearly a half-track ahead — until Tyler Barnett spun and brought out the caution, erasing Brandon’s lead and stacking the field with just three laps to go. Luke was on Brandon’s tail for the restart and gave it everything he had. On the final lap in turns 3 and 4, Luke went high trying to make the pass — but slid up into the marbles. Brandon kept to his line and cruised to the checkers by about four lengths. 🥇 1st: Brandon Hubbard 🥈 2nd: Luke Papps 🥉 3rd: Brad Barnett What a night of racing — and we’re only two rounds in! 📅 NEXT RACE: August 16th – Round 3 of the SoCal Dirt Karters Group Points Series at Perris Raceway! Let’s keep the momentum going! 🔥 #LawnmowerRacing #PerrisSpeedway #SoCalCarters #PointsRace2 #FullContactRacing #TimCastMachine #GrassrootsRacing #RaceDayVibes
