Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas PS2 #1

Welcome to my GTA: San Andreas PS2 playthrough! Recap & Background: After the death of his brother, Brian Johnson in 1987, CJ (Carl Johnson) escapes Los Santos and his gang, Grove Street, to live a different life in Liberty City. Sweet Johnson, CJ and Brian’s brother, blames CJ for Brian’s death, and gets even more mad when he finds out CJ ran away to Liberty City. CJ starts to make small time money stealing cars. But 5 years later in 1992, Beverly Johnson, the brothers’ mother, is killed in a drive-by by the Ballas, Grove Street’s rival gang, CJ returns to Los Santos to see his mother’s funeral. CJ visits his home first, where he finds Big Smoke (one of the homies) and takes CJ to the funeral. CJ finds Ryder (one of the homies), his sister Kendl Johnson, and his brother Sweet. Sweet starts to argue with CJ, then argues with Kendl, and they all argue. They decide to head home, but the Ballas make a Drive-By, exploding Big Smoke’s car. They take Cycles to return to the hood. CJ decides to visit Ryder. Ryder takes CJ to go get a haircut, then eat pizza. Ryder tries to rob the pizza place, but fails as the owner has a shotgun and chases him. CJ goes to Sweet and Big Smoke playing basketball. Sweet tells CJ that they have to tag up some turfs. They do, killing some Ballas in the process, and return to the hood safely. CJ goes back to the homies, Sweet talks about killing drug dealers that are ruining the hood. CJ and Ryder take some bats and get to B-Dub. But he tells him to get off him. They find one selling drugs around the hood and beat him up. They find out where he is from and go there. They find Ballas members and drug dealers and kill them. After that long day, they homies all go out to eat some Cluckin Bell,, but find out a Ballas is headed towards the hood for a drive-by, they chase the car and kill them, evade the police, and return to the hood safely.
