You Can Learn to Hear God’s Voice | God Still Speaks – Part 1

When I was young, I had one big question: Why did everyone in the Bible seem to hear God — except me? “The Lord said to Moses…” “The word of the Lord came to Abraham…” “The Holy Spirit said…” Samuel heard God. Peter was led. Paul received direction. And I kept wondering: How? How did they know it was God? Can ordinary believers learn to recognize His voice? Does God still speak today? That question was one of the reasons I went to Bible school. I told God: “I’ll give You this next year. If I can learn to hear Your voice, the rest of my life is Yours. Take me anywhere.” Over time, I realized something I wasn’t expecting: I had already been hearing God. I just had not learned to recognize His voice.
