Here’s the route, itinerary and actual expenses from our trip. We took the Howrah–Chakradharpur Express at around 11:30 PM and reached Purulia Junction at 6:25 AM. From the station, we hired a car for sightseeing on Days 1 and 2, ending with a drop at Matha Forest Resort. The car cost ₹4,500 in total. On Day 3, we booked a separate car from Matha Forest Resort to Purulia Junction for ₹1,600. *Day 1 | Waterfalls and viewpoints* After checking in at Hill Queen Eco Resort and having breakfast, we visited Pitidiri Falls and Machhkanda Falls. Later, we explored Gajaburu Viewpoint, Jilingsereng Viewpoint, Moravasa Lake, Rupai River and Chemtaburu. *Day 2 | Ayodhya Hills to Matha Forest* We visited Upper Dam, Lower Dam, Mayur Pahar, Marble Lake, Charida Mask Village, Bamni Falls, Thurga Falls and Marble Lake Watch Tower. In the second half, we went to Murguma Dam and Ukamburu Viewpoint before checking in at Matha Forest Resort.
