Lord, Carry Me Tonight | A Prayer for Strength When You're Tired

Lord, Carry Me Tonight — a Christian prayer for strength when you feel tired, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, and unable to carry everything on your own. If you feel worn out tonight, take a moment to pray, breathe, and place your burdens in God's hands. Let this prayer remind you that you don't have to be strong all the time — God is with you. There are days when you keep going for everyone else, even when your own heart is exhausted. You smile, you work, you take care of what needs to be done, and you tell everyone you're fine. But when the day finally ends, you realize how tired you really are. “Lord, Carry Me Tonight” is a heartfelt Christian prayer song for those difficult moments when you feel emotionally drained, overwhelmed, discouraged, or simply too tired to keep carrying everything alone. You don't have to have all the answers tonight. You don't have to fix everything tonight. You don't have to be strong tonight. Give your worries to God. Give Him the fears you cannot control. Give Him the burdens you've been carrying for too long. “When I don't have strength to stand, Please hold me in Your hands.” If all you can do today is take one more step, let God give you strength for that step. 🙏 If this prayer speaks to your heart, write “Amen” in the comments. Lyrics — Lord, Carry Me Tonight Verse 1 Lord, I don't know how much longer I can keep pretending I am strong. I've been carrying this weight for too long, Trying to keep myself moving on. The day was heavy on my shoulders, And now I'm tired from the fight. So here I am with all my burdens, I lay them down before You tonight. Pre-Chorus I've been strong for everyone. But tonight, Lord, I need You. When my strength is almost gone, Let Your strength carry me through. Chorus Lord, carry me tonight. I'm too tired to make things right. When I don't have strength to stand, Please hold me in Your hands. I don't need to know the way. I just need Your strength today. When my heart is worn and weak, Lord, be the strength I need. Verse 2 They see the smile upon my face, But You know all the tears I hide. They hear me say that I am fine, But You know what I carry inside. I've kept so many fears unspoken, I've tried to make it on my own. But You have seen each silent struggle, And You have never left me alone. Bridge If I can only take one step, Give me strength for just that step. If I cannot carry this alone, Remind me I am still Your own. Just give me grace for one more day. When I am weak, Lord, make a way. Carry me until the morning comes. Final Chorus Lord, carry me tonight. Hold me through the darkest night. When I don't have strength to stand, Please hold me in Your hands. I don't need to know the way. I just need Your strength today. Though my heart is worn and weak, Lord, You are the strength I need. Outro Tonight, I don't have to be strong. Your strength is enough for me. Carry me, Lord, through the night. I'll try again tomorrow. You are here. You are faithful. Amen. If you're listening tonight with a tired heart, you don't have to carry everything alone. God is near, and His strength is enough for you. #ChristianPrayer #PrayerForStrength #PrayerForPeace #ChristianMusic #PrayerForTheTired #HisPrayersForPeace
