Join me as I take a drive through Na Kluea Old Town, starting at the newly renovated Na Kluea Wet Market, heading to the top of the town and then making the journey back again. Along the way, we'll see the traditional wooden shophouses that are still very much in use today as cafes, restaurants and local businesses, alongside Art Deco-inspired low-rise apartments, old merchant houses and humble dwellings that give Na Kluea its distinctive character. Na Kluea was once known for its fishing and salt fields, and although modern Pattaya has grown up around it, parts of the old community remain remarkably intact. This is a different side of Pattaya — away from the beaches, high-rise hotels and tourist crowds.
