Rajdeep Sardesai Show: Has EC Given Itself A Clean Chit? | Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul On Collegium

The Election Commission of India has filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court stating that all decisions concerning the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls were unanimous, countering allegations of unilateral action by Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The top court granted petitioners, including Rahul Gandhi, ten days to file their response, while the Congress party organized a symbolic impeachment protest. Meanwhile, former Supreme Court judge Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul addressed judicial appointments, the National Judicial Appointments Commission, caste equations, and executive-judiciary relations in an interview regarding his memoir. In other developments, an investigation was initiated in Theni, Tamil Nadu, following the escape of 17 inmates from a sub-jail, leading to the suspension of nine prison personnel and the recapture of 13 prisoners. Additionally, authorities in Madhya Pradesh commenced an inquiry into alleged fraudulent travel reimbursements for a religious conference in Ujjain, involving registration numbers of mopeds and auto-rickshaws submitted as car rentals. #ElectionCommission #GyaneshKumar #CollegiumSystem #NewsToday #SIRRow #SupremeCourt #Congress #RahulGandhi #MallikarjunKharge #JusticeSKKaul #Collegium #Judiciary #INDIABloc #ElectoralRolls #IndiaToday #IndianPolitics #JusticeKaul #NJAC #TheniJailbreak #TamilNaduPolice #Theni #UjjainScam #MahakalConference #MadhyaPradesh #AbhishekSharma #VaibhavSuryavanshi #INDvsNZ Subscribe to India Today for NEW VIDEOS EVERY DAY and make sure to enable Push Notifications so you'll never miss a new video.
