Jenny Tinmouth Race 1 win Thundersport GB at Oulton Park 2013

This was my second season running this bike a 2008 Honda CBR1000RR as a privateer in the British Superbike Championship, it was one of the first “Evo” spec bikes bought off Craig Fitzpatrick who ran it in the BSB Championship in 2011 so it had a relatively stock engine to conform to the new cost saving rules and so a very modest 182bhp despite appearances. Racing in the Thundersport Championship at select rounds gave me opportunity to continue to get used to the bike and continue to up my level and improve myself. A fantastic well organised series that was the proving ground and feeder series for the BSB paddock. Oulton Park is my home round and I love the circuit, i’d already done a BSB round here earlier in the year and knew what lap times I could do so it was great to win this race and Race 2 later that day.
