American Adventure July 2026 - Part 6 - Queen Mary 2 - Rhode Island

Hi Everyone, Today we are in our first port of call on our cruise stopping at Newport in Rhode Island. We were very excited to visit as it has the same kind of vibe as Catalina Island on the West Coast of the USA which we visited on our previous USA trip whilst sailing Discovery Princess. There are plenty of independent boutiques to browse around in, selling everything from souvenirs, chic clothes and home wares to Jellycats. We did go and see the town hall and ventures off track to pass the Newport Tennis Club. Afterwards we stopped off to get some drink supplies for our cabin before getting some frozen drinks from the Seven Eleven. We tried to get an Uber pack to the dock for the tender but after no luck walked back down to the dock to take the tender back on board. It was soon time for dinner, and after a nice meal we decided to have a look round the shops on board. We hope you enjoy this vlog.
