DISNEY DURING COVID - Hollywood Studios • 2020

A look back at our November 2020 trip to ‪@DisneyParks‬ Hollywood Studios Orlando, when the parks were operating under strict COVID policies and reduced capacity. It was definitely a strange time to visit, but surprisingly, we loved it. Everything was organized, the lines kept moving, and the park ran like a well oiled machine. We were there to check out some of the park’s newest attractions, including Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Unfortunately, I wasn’t quite as prepared as Disney was. I seriously underestimated how many GoPro batteries I’d need, so the footage gets a little thin as the day goes on. Still, it’s a fun look back at a very unusual moment in Disney World history, when some of Hollywood Studios’ biggest new attractions were opening during one of the strangest years imaginable.
