Little Engines, Big Men: Ridge Live Steamers 3/28/2026

On this channel, our primary focus has been on full-sized equipment, and on the occasional model train, but this video, we're entering uncharted territory: the world of Ride-on Live Steam. On March 28th, me and a friend headed to Ridge Live Steamers, a Live Steam Club located less than an hour away from Orlando, just outside the little down of Dundee. We visited the property for their Spring meet, which took place at the end of March. This video highlights the unique nature of these small, yet rideable machines, and the challenges that come with them, as these little engines are just as temperamental, if not even more so, then their full-sized counterparts. While I only snagged a small bit of the day's events, I hope all of you will find the subject matter unique and intriguing in its own right. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the sites of sounds of miniature live steam at Ridge Live Steamers!
