AI in UX portfolios: A new way to build your portfolio

Most designers spend weeks polishing the parts of their portfolio that hiring teams care about least. In this live session, Ákos Izsák and Réka Nagy from UXfolio share what more than 100 hiring decision-makers told us about UX portfolios and AI, and show a new way to build your portfolio from the files you already have. 🎙 First, Ákos covers: → Why portfolio building takes so much longer than planned → What makes hiring teams form a negative impression: confusing navigation, distracting animations, slow loading and case study cards without context → Why 90% of hiring decision-makers rate relevant, well-structured case studies as important, while less than half care about a visually ambitious design → What hiring teams expect from a case study: your thinking, your impact, a scannable layout and clear storytelling → How hiring teams really feel about AI in portfolios, and what separates great AI-assisted content from generic output 🎬 Then Réka shows: → The three principles behind UXfolio's UX Portfolio Generator: a recruiter-optimized foundation, a story-driven approach to case studies, and keeping designers in control → How it works, from your existing files to a working first draft → A live walkthrough, from a Figma file to a first draft of a portfolio website → A tip for getting richer case studies from your Figma files ⏱ Chapters 00:00 Welcome [02:28] Why portfolio building takes longer than expected [03:43] What hiring teams actually care about [06:18] What makes a great case study [07:55] AI in UX portfolios [12:40] The three principles behind the UX Portfolio Generator [17:00] How it works [20:25] Live demo [33:33] Q&A ✨ Try the UX Portfolio Generator: https://uxfol.io/ux-portfolio-generator 👋 Speakers Ákos Izsák, Product Lead at UXfolio:   / akosizsak   Réka Nagy, Product Designer at UXfolio:   / reka-nagy-ui-ux   🖤 Follow UXfolio LinkedIn:   / uxfolio   Instagram:   / uxfolio   #ux #uxdesign #uxui #uxportfolio #uxcasestudy #productdesign #uxdesigner #productdesigner #uxuidesign #portfoliotips #uxresearch #uxresearcher
