Movement and attacks feel slower across the board, which makes actions more committal, but also removes some of the moveset death bait that exists in modern Souls games. I can appreciate this, since it allows for strategic positioning and spacing (footsies) to shine more, as opposed to memorizing dodge timing with the exaggerated attack wind-ups.
