The Cave of Mercy — David Spares Saul | Cinematic Symphonic Rock | Epic Orchestral | SIXFOLD MERCY

*THE CAVE OF MERCY — SIXFOLD MERCY* Dark Symphonic Rock | Christian Rock | Biblical Music The Cave of Mercy is a dark symphonic Christian rock song inspired by 1 Samuel 24, when David spared King Saul's life instead of taking revenge. *“I had the knife... But mercy held my hand.”* Hunted by three thousand men, David found himself face to face with the king who wanted him dead. Hidden in a dark cave, he had the chance to end Saul's life. But instead of choosing vengeance, David chose mercy. Inspired by the biblical story of David and Saul, this emotional symphonic rock ballad explores forgiveness, faith, betrayal, and the courage to leave justice in God's hands. Featuring Noa and Eliad's emotional vocals, mournful cello, expressive violin, cinematic orchestration, and powerful rock arrangements. *“You stole my peace. You made me run. But I won't become what you've become.”* What would you have done in David's place? 🎵 Song: The Cave of Mercy 🎙️ Artist: SIXFOLD MERCY 💿 Album: Your Mercy Is My Song 📖 Scripture: 1 Samuel 24 🎸 Genre: Dark Symphonic Rock / Christian Rock *LISTEN TO THE ALBUM* Your Mercy Is My Song — The story of Saul and David:    • Your Mercy Is My Song   The lyrics are an original poetic retelling inspired by Scripture, not a word-for-word biblical quotation. --- *OFFICIAL LYRICS* I had the knife... But mercy held my hand. Three thousand men were hunting me I hid where daylight couldn't reach And there you stood, without a guard The king who'd driven me so far My brothers whispered, "Now's the time" "One silent stroke, and you'll be free" I held your ending in my hand But something greater held on to me I cut a corner of your robe And felt my own heart break If God had called me to be king Was this a crown that I should take? I had the knife I had my reasons I had the darkness on my side But I chose mercy You stole my peace You made me run But I won't become What you've become I had the knife But mercy held my hand I still remember who you were Before the fear consumed your heart I played my songs beside your throne Before your spear tore us apart And there you stood within my reach The king who'd hunted me for years I could've ended everything But grace found me beneath my fear The cloth was trembling in my hand That crown was never mine to claim And even when the world said "Strike" I called upon the Lord by name I had the knife I had my reasons I had the darkness on my side But I chose mercy You stole my peace You made me run But I won't become What you've become I had the knife But mercy held my hand May the Lord judge between you and me I won't raise my hand against you You're the Lord's anointed king So I'll leave your life with Him Is that your voice... My son, David? I never wanted you to fall. I had the knife I had my reasons I had the darkness on my side But I chose mercy You stole my peace You made me run But I won't become What you've become I had the knife But mercy held my hand Your crown was never mine to take My hands are empty God knows why --- *A NOTE FROM SIXFOLD MERCY* Sometimes, the greatest victory isn't defeating your enemy. It's refusing to become one. David had the opportunity, the weapon, and every human reason to take revenge. But he chose to trust God instead. This song is for anyone who has ever been wounded deeply enough to want to hurt someone back. May mercy be stronger than the pain we carry. *ABOUT SIXFOLD MERCY* SIXFOLD MERCY is a virtual symphonic rock band bringing biblical stories to life through cinematic music, powerful vocals, emotional storytelling, and orchestral arrangements.
