Mount Superior & Monte Cristo // Two Classic Wasatch Peaks

On August 16, I hiked Mount Superior and Monte Cristo, two 11,000’ peaks on the Cottonwood Ridge. I began the hike from Alta, Utah in Little Cottonwood Canyon. The hike totaled 5.4 miles with 2,963’ of vertical gain. Much of this route is an off-trail class 3 scramble.
