Run For Country (2025)

Run for Country is a revealing, hopeful, and inspiring documentary about an unlikely coalition standing up for one of Australia's most significant inland forests. Filmed at the 2025 Pilliga Ultra, Run for Country unpacks the devastating impact coal seam gas has, and will continue to have on Gomeroi Country if the Narrabri Gas Project were to go ahead. In the face of corporate greed and industrialisation, farmers, runners, hikers, locals, and families are coming together to celebrate and protect this forest and, together, save the Pilliga.
