Retired Cop Reacts to Washington Bigfoot Reports | Podcast Ep. 1

A retired Washington police officer reacts to some of the strangest Bigfoot reports from his own backyard. In the first episode of the Black Timber Archives podcast, I’m joined by my good friend Travis — Burley Piper — a retired police officer from the Pacific Northwest and a self-described “skeptical believer.” We dig into reported Sasquatch encounters from across Washington, including campers surrounded by strange sounds in the woods, a woman who claims she actually ran over a Bigfoot with a Honda Civic, a close encounter near Mount Baker, possible Bigfoot activity around Sumas Mountain, and a strange sighting near Spokane. Some of these reports sound surprisingly convincing. Others fall apart pretty quickly. And toward the end of the episode, Travis tells his own unexplained story from the Washington woods involving three mushrooms placed in locations where he still can’t explain how they got there. Was it Bigfoot? Something else? Or just a very strange day in the forest? Watch the full episode and tell us which encounter you think is the most believable.
