Ambient Minutes 05 - 2026-10-25

Ambient Minutes 05 - 2026-10-25 A dark ambient techno jam using Eurorack modules by ‪@NoiseEngineering‬ , ‪@instruo‬ , ‪@blukac-instruments‬ , ‪@busycircuits‬ , ‪@WMDevices‬ , ‪@intellijel‬ and ‪@1010music‬ . The core of this patch is the bass line provided by Klang Legio. It is triggered by Steppy with pitch and stepped modulation sequenced from Pamela’s PRO Workout. The fixed pitch sequence in Phrygian mode is randomly alterered and extended with notes from the minor scale in upper registers. The output from Klang is fed into C4RBN, whose filter cutoff is modulated by a stepped sequence from Pam’s. The sound from the 2 pole low pass filter output runs directly into the mixer, while the sounds from the 4 pole low pass and bandpass filter outputs are sent to Vice Virga for random switching and then fed to the Endless Processor. The droning chords are created by the Endless Processor regularly capturing the filtered bass line. This results in different chords, depending on the constantly varying pitch sequence. Steppy triggers the capture on the Endless Processor and a gate from Pamela’s PRO Workout is used to switch between the two channels. The slow pace and reduced probability of these control signals allows for a continuous layering and evolution of stacked drones. Arbhar provides weird noises and glitches on top of the drone. Four of the layers are loaded with samples by MRI Techno (which can be downloaded for free from mri-techno.net), and transposed by a sequence from Pamela’s PRO Workout. Another stepped CV sequence controls the Scan location. Bass: Klang Legio / Bluebox Delay. Kick: Kick Legio / Bluebox Delay. Drone Chords: Klang Legio / Endless Processor / Desmodus Versio. Glitches: Arbhar / Samples by mri-techno.net Recording via 1010 music BlueBox.
