Something has changed in the Bigfoot community, and I'm not sure it's for the better. What happened to the days when Bigfoot was about mystery, curiosity, strange encounters, and the possibility that something unknown might be living in the wilderness? Today, it seems like every discussion turns into an argument. Believers are ridiculed, skeptics are attacked, researchers are called grifters, and people seem more interested in proving each other wrong than exploring the mystery. With the new documentary "Capturing Bigfoot" raising questions about the famous 1967 Patterson-Gimlin film, those divisions seem especially obvious. But here's my question: Even if the Patterson-Gimlin film turned out to be a hoax, would that really settle the entire Bigfoot mystery? In this video, I share my thoughts on the growing hostility surrounding Bigfoot, the accusations directed at content creators, and why I think we've forgotten what made this subject so fascinating in the first place. I started Black Timber Archives because I enjoy Bigfoot encounter stories, witness accounts, and exploring the possibility of something we haven't discovered. I don't have all the answers, and I don't pretend to. I just think we ought to be able to enjoy the mystery without attacking each other. I'd love to hear from you: When did you first become interested in Bigfoot? Do you think the community has changed? And do you still enjoy the mystery as much as you used to? Let's have a conversation. Subscribe to Black Timber Archives for Bigfoot encounter reactions, witness reports, investigations, and commentary. #Bigfoot #Sasquatch #PattersonGimlin #Capturingbigfoot
