THE HOSTAGE

She had just arrived home from France. At the airport, a man was waiting for her with a sign bearing her name. He told her he had been sent by her father to drive her home. She trusted him. She got into the car. But she never made it home. Hours later, she woke up inside a locked room with no idea where she was. Then the phone rang at her father's office. A stranger gave him a simple choice: Pay $300,000... or his daughter would die. But the kidnappers made one mistake. They underestimated the girl they were holding. Because while they were watching her, she found a way to send her father a secret message. And what she wrote would shock everyone. The person behind her kidnapping wasn't a stranger. It was someone her family had trusted for years. Someone she had grown up calling “Uncle David.” So why would a respected engineer kidnap his friend's daughter? And what did her kidnapping have to do with a government contract worth millions of dollars? This is the story of The Hostage and Her Father's Friend.
