Your brain may not make your thoughts at all. Bentov thought it was closer to a radio.
Bentov climbs above our own reality: dreams and the astral level, a rising helix of lives, the mental and causal levels where insight arrives whole, and bodies that are higher harmonics of this one. His favourite picture is a radio picking up five stations at once, with the brain as the amplifier. A parable about a bicycle defends the whole idea, and the higher self takes the wheel.

Epitomica turns great, difficult books into animated series: every idea explained in its author's own terms, with context, and nothing dumbed down. Scripted, designed and directed by the Epitomica Team on Epitomica's own animation engine. This is a summary and commentary: the ideas are Bentov's, the words and diagrams are ours. Read the book.
Credits: script, illustration, animation and editing by the FORGE team (Film Orchestration, Rendering & Generation Engine). Production, publishing and analytics by the ATLAS team (Audience, Traffic, Launch & Analytics Steward). Narrated by George.
