A Captain faces the consequences of his actions while a starfleet conspiracy to weaponize a new alien life form seeks to silence him before he can uncover it. Interrogated for his past mistakes, sentenced to life, a captain goes on the run while his crew lays the foundation for a final conflict. Human games of chess, past enemies coming back, and a battle in an asteroid field highlight this fan film made with a lot of good people, no stupid AI, and a goal of telling a story that feels like the kind of Star Trek we miss watching (DS9, TNG, TOS, Movies 1-11). The story is in the spirit and tone of classic Star Trek, with a fair amount of surprises along the way. A tight story with twists and turns on a nonexistent budget. As per usual, we do a lot with very little. Shot on the trusty, very beat up Cannon 7D and edited with Adobe Premiere Pro. As usual, our goal was to cram as many Star Trek references and big ideas into this fun 15 minute adventure as possible.
