USAMR, Autonomous Mobile Robot

Project Team: 16 USAMR is creating an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) to transfer shelves to new destinations on the floor in fulfillment and distribution centers. USAMR is currently in the development phase of designing their AMR and needs a lift and rotate mechanism capable of lifting and rotating a 1500 kg load that can be installed into their AMR. The lifting mechanism should be capable of lifting vertically 50 mm. In the lifted position, the mechanism should be able to rotate in 90° increments CW and CCW within a tolerance of 1°.
