🇫🇷 Lake Annecy & Chamonix | French Alps | June

10 DAYS IN THE FRENCH ALPS! | Lake Annecy, Chamonix & Mont Blanc Road Trip Adventure 🇫🇷 Join us as we set off on an incredible 10-day road trip from Calais, heading south through France for a relaxing break surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery Europe has to offer! Our main destination was the stunning Lake Annecy, where we based ourselves at the wonderful Camping Le Solitaire du Lac, right beside the lake. What an amazing location! With breathtaking mountain scenery, crystal-clear waters and beautiful towns and villages to explore, Annecy certainly didn’t disappoint. But that wasn’t all! During our stay, we explored some incredible places, including the spectacular Gorges du Fier, and discovered just how much this beautiful part of France has to offer. We also took an unforgettable drive through the French Alps to Chamonix, where we spent a night at the lovely Park Hôtel Suisse & Spa. While there, we headed up into the mountains by cable car to experience the incredible views of Mont Blanc from Aiguille du Midi. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking and an experience we’ll never forget! Of course, the journey down was an adventure in itself. Leaving Calais, we stopped overnight at Camping de Châlons-en-Champagne – Onlycamp. A lovely campsite on the outskirts of town, ideally located for a walk into the town centre. It was the perfect place to break up the journey before continuing south towards the Alps.
