The Realist hub were pleased to welcome Dr. Ola Abdelfatah and Prof. Ian Maidment to discuss their NIHR-funded realist review, INTEGRATE. Conducted in response to the introduction of prescribing rights for all newly qualified pharmacists from 2026, the study synthesised published evidence, stakeholder perspectives, and patient involvement to identify the factors that supported or hindered successful prescribing services. The review aimed to develop recommendations to maximise the benefits of pharmacist prescribing for patients, community pharmacies, and the NHS.
