Map: Cauldron Faction: France Battle: France vs France vs France vs Germany This battle started with a simple plan: eliminate the German threat before dealing with the remaining French forces. I opened with a powerful artillery group of five Canon de 75mm guns, protected by B1 Bis tanks and Panherd reconnaissance. Around my defensive positions, I established ambushes using French Legionnaires, Camel AA guns and AT45 anti-tank guns. Germany attempted to counterattack with Panzer IVs. They didn't survive. After destroying the German base, I captured the surrounding supply centers and secured my flank. Then I began the main offensive. Three combined French columns moved forward with B1 Bis tanks, SAU40 assault guns, Lorraine tank destroyers and Canon de 75mm artillery. The attack was brutal. My infantry and other lightly armored units were eventually devastated, but the artillery had already done its job. Before the final assault, the bombardment had destroyed the enemy bases and defensive positions. And then came the finishing blow. Six Guppy fighter-bombers arrived to deliver the final strikes. The battlefield was already broken.
