The Deadly Secret Guitar Companies Don’t Want You to Know (Worst Scandal)

The Deadly Secret Guitar Companies Don’t Want You to Know (Worst Scandal) Nearly every major guitar brand ships product with a California Proposition sixty-five warning citing cancer and reproductive harm, and almost no player has ever stopped to ask what's actually causing it. This video traces three separate, real toxic threads hidden inside standard electric guitar manufacturing: tonewood dust from rosewood, ebony, and mahogany that's been classified a Group One human carcinogen since nineteen ninety-five, nitrocellulose lacquer with a hazardous, flammable chemistry that's been almost entirely phased out of automotive use, and lead solder that guitar electronics are still legally exempt from banning under RoHS regulations most other consumer electronics gave up on decades ago. None of this makes an electric guitar dangerous to own or play. What it exposes is how much regulatory history the guitar industry has quietly rebranded as heritage, craftsmanship, and vintage character, while the workers actually building these instruments absorb risks most players never think to ask about. #electricguitar #guitargear #guitarscandal #toxicsecret #guitarfacts #fender #gibson #guitarhistory #guitarmanufacturing #rosewood #guitartok #guitarcommunity
