Midnight Lover (80s Synth-Pop Music Video)

Midnight Lover is an 80s synthpop song that started as one synth line and a pair of headphones, way past my bedtime. I looped it for what felt like an hour, then the chorus showed up and sleep was officially cancelled. Here is the full video with the lyrics on screen, my own little trip back to the 80s. Think shimmering synths, a steady beat and neon lights over a lonely street, the kind of 80s music that sounds best late at night. It is about missing someone so much that you see their face in the night. "I don't know where you are, but I can feel you near." Then comes the line that carries the whole song: "You're still a part of me." The chorus calls out to "Midnight Lover" and begs them to come back, with "I need your love, I need you tonight" right behind it. In the second verse every road leads "back into your eyes", and the bridge is the most naked part of the song: "Don't leave me lonely, don't leave me blue. All I ever wanted was to be with you." Romantic, bittersweet and honestly a little desperate. The lyrics stay on screen from start to finish, so you can sing along. I'm a Dutch music creator and every song on this channel is original. Synthpop is all I make. If you love a good 80s love song, I hope this one takes you right back. So tell me, who would you call back at midnight if you could? Let me know in the comments, I read every one. Thank you for watching and for being part of this. If the song did something for you, please like the video, leave a comment, subscribe, share it with a friend and add it to your favorites. It helps a small channel like mine more than you would think. 00:00 Intro 00:31 Verse 1 | In the Night, I See Your Face 00:47 Pre-chorus | I Don't Know Where You Are 01:04 Chorus | Midnight Lover 01:55 Verse 2 | Silver Moon Above the Town 02:12 Pre-chorus | I Remember Every Word 02:28 Chorus | Midnight Lover 03:20 Bridge | Tonight, Tonight 03:52 Final Chorus | Midnight Lover 04:34 Outro | Midnight Lover Video playlist:    • Imaginative Flow Music - Complete Collecti...   Shorts playlist:    • ImaginativeFlow | Best Music Shorts   #Synthpop #80sMusic #BackTo80s
