Some fans and analysts believe Justin Gaethje’s pressure, leg kicks and knockout power could create major problems for Arman Tsarukyan, especially if Arman struggles to get his wrestling going early. Tsarukyan recently stopped Mauricio Ruffy in the first round at UFC 331, but even in that fight he was forced into dangerous striking exchanges before landing the finish. Gaethje has already acknowledged that Arman is the most deserving contender if he chooses to defend the lightweight title. At the same time, this is far from a one-sided prediction. Daniel Cormier has argued that Tsarukyan could actually be a very difficult stylistic matchup for Gaethje, mainly because of his wrestling, pace and ability to force scrambles. So while the “brutal beat-up” angle works for a reaction-style video, the actual MMA debate is much more divided. #armantsarukyan #justingaethje #iliatopuria
