Amtrak Acela Express 2271 Legacy Train Full Ride From Boston South to Washington DC Union 4K HDR

This video was filmed on August 8, 2026. From Boston South Station to Washington DC Union Station, it’s time for a ride in the original Acela Express legacy train! Originally, I was planned to book a ride for Acela Express 2267 Legacy Train, but then I chose to book for a ride in 2271 instead. At the same day I selected for the booking of my trip, I discovered that 2267 broke down near New Rochelle, causing that train to be stuck for a long time while other trains, including Acela Express 2271 that I was onboard, passes by a broken down Acela Express legacy train that was used for 2267. If I ended up choosing 2267 for that day, then I would’ve end up getting stranded in that train for few hours. Fortunately the Acela Express legacy train set that I rode in 2271 ran nice and strong enough from Boston South Station all the way to Washington DC Union Station. Still, it’s a good thing I got to experience a ride in a piece of the US railroad history right in the Northeast Corridor just in time before it’s time for them to retire.
