How to Approach the Lord

When you approach God, what are you standing on—Jesus and what He has done, or everything you have managed to do? “I prayed. I fasted. I served. I waited.” I know that way of thinking, because I have been there. But there is a difference between faith and entitlement, and it affects how we approach the Father. In this teaching, we sit with the Word and look at what we have received in Christ, why we do not have to earn what Jesus has already given us, and how renewing our minds shapes the way we pray and live. I also share what I learned through a difficult season of my college track career. We approach God on the foundation of Jesus Christ. Take some time with Galatians chapter 3 for yourself.
