During 2026 Fourth Liangzhu Forum held in Hangzhou, “Silk Road: Artists’ Rendezvous – Renowned Artists Co-creating Picturesque Zhejiang” brought together 25 artists from 14 countries such as Kazakhstan and Italy for artistic inspiration and creation in Zhejiang, a coastal province in southeast China. Their journey stretches from the 5,000‑year‑old Liangzhu civilization, the misty charm of West Lake, the everyday life along the Grand Canal, to the dynamic commercial energy of Yiwu. Artists from diverse countries, drawing on their own cultural perspectives and artistic languages, have produced more than 40 original works.
